A photographers dream, we at least it is one of mine...

Having a camera capable of taking close ups and in some cases macros of small flowers, bugs and such has always been a dream of mine. Back in high school I took photography classes, often using cameras of the 30's and forty's.  Then when I had the use of a more modern camera, life took different turn. Money needed to be spent in other areas of life, not darkroom equipment, cameras and the like. I was very ok with that and I made the most out of the cameras we had. My best friend and life partner purchased a really sweet Nikon for me that I dearly love.  Hard to find inexpensive places to get black & white developed...I put her a way for a while.  Now she needs some work on shutter controls. than she will be fine.
As life would have it, please remember life has it's own sense of humor. Still saving to have the Nikon fixed, when I inherited not 1 but 2 Cannons...One of which I used in the latter years of high school, sweet cameras, again with a twist....both have shutter problems.
Again, my best friend found this little cutie, a little digital camera that has been my little side-kick whenever we adventure down the road.
In this blog you will find pictures not only that I took, but most often the entire family.
Hope you will enjoy this adventure as we take you down roads traveled by many and some that are traveled only by a few.............
